We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. That means we decide how and why your information is used.
If you have any question about this policy, or about how we handle your information, contact us at Sangramsinhbhosale1@gmail.com.
What we collect, and why
When you place an order
We collect your name, billing and delivery address, email address, phone number, order details and delivery preferences.
We need this to take payment, send your order, deal with any problem with it, and meet our legal obligations around tax and record-keeping.
We do not see or store your card details. Payments are handled by our payment provider, STRIP, who process your card information directly. We receive only a confirmation that payment succeeded or failed, and the last four digits of the card for reference.
When you create an account
We store your name, email address, password (encrypted), addresses and order history, so you can check past orders and check out more quickly next time.
When you request wholesale pricing
Our trade enquiry form collects your company name, business type, location, the products you’re interested in, your estimated requirement, email address and phone number.
We use this to prepare a quote and to contact you about it. If you don’t go ahead, we keep the enquiry for a reasonable period in case you come back to us, then delete it.
When you sign up to our emails
We collect your email address, and use it to send you product news and offers. You can unsubscribe from any email we send, and we’ll stop.
When you contact us
We keep the correspondence and whatever contact details you’ve given us, so we can reply and refer back to it if you get in touch again.
When you browse the site
Our servers automatically record your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you visit and the site you came from. This is used to keep the site running, protect it from abuse, and understand which pages are useful.
Reviews
If you leave a product review, the name you give and the review text are published on the site. Don’t include anything in a review you wouldn’t want to be public.
Images
If you upload an image to the site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors can download images and extract that data.
Our legal basis for using your information
Under UK data protection law we must have a lawful basis for using your information. Ours are:
- Performance of a contract — processing and delivering your order, managing your account.
- Legal obligation — keeping records for tax, VAT, and consumer law purposes.
- Legitimate interests — responding to enquiries, preventing fraud, improving the site and our products, and contacting business customers about trade supply. We balance these against your rights, and you can object at any time.
- Consent — marketing emails and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent whenever you like.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored on your device.
Essential cookies keep the site working — remembering what’s in your basket, keeping you logged in, and securing checkout. The site can’t function without these, so they don’t require consent.
Analytics cookies tell us how the site is used, so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics for this.
Marketing cookies may be used to measure the performance of our advertising.
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies through our cookie banner, and change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though the site may not work properly if you block the essential ones.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with organisations that help us run the business:
- Payment processing — STRIP, to take payment securely.
- Delivery — [COURIER(S)], who need your name, address and phone number to deliver your order.
- Email — for order confirmations and, if you’ve opted in, marketing.
- Website hosting — who store the site and its database.
- Analytics — Google Analytics.
- Professional advisers — our accountants and, if ever needed, legal advisers.
Each of these is bound to use your information only as instructed by us, and to keep it secure.
We may also disclose information where we are required to by law, or to establish or defend legal claims.
Sending information outside the UK
Some of the services above may store or process information outside the United Kingdom. Where that happens, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place — such as UK adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement — so your information keeps the same level of protection.
How long we keep your information
- Order and transaction records — six years after the end of the relevant financial year, as required by HMRC.
- Account information — for as long as your account is open. Close it and we delete or anonymise it, apart from records we must keep for tax.
- Wholesale enquiries — six years from your last contact with us.
- Marketing consent — until you unsubscribe, then a minimal record that you have opted out, so we don’t email you again.
- Website logs and analytics — 60 days.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct anything inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your information, where we have no continuing reason to keep it.
- Restrict how we use it, in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another provider.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To exercise any of these, email Sangramsinhbhosale1@gmail.com. We will respond within one month. We do not charge for this.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office — ico.org.uk, or 0303 123 1113.
Keeping your information secure
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, restrict access to personal information to those who need it, and rely on established providers for payment and hosting. No system is completely secure, but we take these obligations seriously and review our arrangements regularly.
Children
This website is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will appear on this page with a revised date at the top. Where a change is significant, we’ll tell you directly.
